Privacy policy

MADORA strives to protect the privacy of Users by complying with the laws and regulations in force, in particular Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 relating to information technology, files and freedoms (hereinafter "the Information Technology and Freedoms Act"). This Personal Data Charter is an integral part of the General Conditions of Use of the Site.


Article 1 - Definitions


Order: means the Services ordered by the Customer.


Quote: means any technical and commercial proposal from MADORA relating to the Services ordered by the Customer.


Personal data: means any information directly or indirectly identifying a natural person.


Service: means all services provided by MADORA under this Contract, as provided for in the Quote.


Site: means the MADORA website accessible at the following address: www.madoraweb.com.


Processing: means any operation, or set of operations, relating to personal data, regardless of the process used.


User: means any user of the Site.


Article 2 - Collection of Personal Data


While browsing the Site, the User may be required to communicate personal information about them to MADORA.


MADORA may use cookies to analyze traffic and use of the Site. Information relating to each Cookie, its functionalities and its retention period are presented on the Site, from the "I choose" tab of the banner relating to Cookies on the Site. When using the Site, the following User data may be processed by MADORA:

  • Their identification data (last name, first name, date and place of birth, gender, etc.)
  • Their contact details (postal address, telephone number, email address, IP address, etc.)
  • Their bank details


Article 3 - Purposes of processing


MADORA collects and processes the User's data for the following purposes:

  • Know and understand the User's needs;
  • Verify the User's identity;
  • Manage the commercial relationship with the User;
  • Manage the User's Orders and delivery of Orders;
  • Respond to the User's requests and solicitations;
  • Handle questions or requests for information by post and/or electronic and/or telephone;
  • Produce and analyze statistical data to analyze and improve the use, security and performance of the MADORA Site;
  • Process system errors;
  • Communicate commercial offers, targeted information or advertisements to the User.


Article 4 - Retention period


The User's data is retained for the entire duration of the Service and for 12 (twelve) months following its completion.


Article 5 - Consent


By accessing or using the Site, the User accepts the rules relating to the collection, processing and use of Personal Data as set out below.


Article 6 - Processing of Personal Data


MADORA strives to collect and carry out fair and lawful processing of Personal Data. As such, MADORA ensures that the User concerned by the processing is informed of the purpose of this processing, the retention period of the data processed, the data controller and the recipient of the processing.


MADORA undertakes to make its best efforts to take the necessary measures to guarantee the security of the data it has collected and to prevent their disclosure to unauthorized third parties.


Article 7 - User Rights


The User concerned by the processing of Personal Data has a right of opposition that can be exercised at any time by contacting MADORA under the conditions defined below. In the event that this right is exercised, the User will no longer be able to access the features of the Site requiring the processing of their data. The User also has a right to access, rectify and erase their data, allowing them to access information concerning them and to demand that their data be, as the case may be, rectified, completed, updated or deleted. The User also has a right to portability, allowing them to recover the data concerning them processed by MADORA for their personal use and/or to transfer them to a new organization. Any questions or requests relating to the processing of Personal Data must be sent electronically to: marie@madoraweb.com.

The User must indicate in their request their surname, first name, date of birth, company name, postal address and email. MADORA has a response period of one month from the date of receipt of the User's request.

Article 9 - Recipient of processing


The User's personal data may be communicated by MADORA to the following third parties:

  • Administrative or judicial authorities, when this disclosure is necessary for the identification, arrest or prosecution of any individual likely to harm the rights of MADORA, any other User or a third party;
  • The TRAFCIN unit (Article L. 561-2 of the Monetary and Financial Code);
  • Service providers and subcontractors of MADORA providing a service on behalf of MADORA and/or in its name in order to enable MADORA to provide its Services (as provided for in the Quote).


Article 10 - Security of Personal Data


MADORA makes its best efforts to ensure the security of the User's Personal Data by implementing physical, electronic and administrative technical protection measures proportionate to the risks incurred and in accordance with applicable regulations.


MADORA cannot be held responsible for risks related to the operation of the User's internet network. It is the User's responsibility to ensure that means are in place to secure their internet network.


Article 11 - Updating the Privacy Policy


MADORA reserves the right to update this Personal Data Charter of the Site at any time and without notice.


When using the Site, the User is required to regularly refer to the latest version of the Personal Data Charter of the Site.
